11 Celebrities Who Smoke Hookah

Smoking hookah looks cool. There. We said it.

Hookah pipes look cool, the coals add a nice rustic flair, the smell and taste of the shisha and the look of the thick dense hookah clouds — it’s just legit. The authenticity of the tradition just makes you feel some type of way, and we’re here for it.

This is why you might find that there are quite a few celebrities that enjoy hookah smoking.

While you certainly don’t have to be a celebrity to enjoy hookah smoking, it can be fun to know the famous people who enjoy hookah smoking as well. You never know who you might run into at the next hookah bar you go to.

Here are 11 celebrities who smoke MOB Hookah.

#1 MASSARI

Lebanese-Canadian R&B/hip-hop singer Massari is an avid fan of hookah. Massari is known to combine Eastern and Western culture in his work, having been born in Lebanon, and lived his teenage years in Canada.

Massari has even released a song called “Shisha,” which features French Montana, another artist born overseas in Morocco, and then moved to Canada as a teenager. The song was released in 2013, and still remains a popular homage to hookah smoking.

#2 MIGOS

Atlanta rap group Migos, composed of rappers Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff, are all hookah smokers. Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff are all related, and were all raised by Quavo’s mother.

Atlanta-born rapper and frontman of the rap and hip-hop trio Migos, Quavo is another of the many rappers who enjoy smoking hookah. There is a surprisingly strong hookah culture growing in the American South, perhaps why Quavo has become a fan of hookah smoking.

Quavo is perhaps most famous for his MVP performance in the 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, and for being the longtime boyfriend of rapper Saweetie.

Migos is most famous for their rap album trilogy including, “Culture,” “Culture II,” and “Culture III,” considered one of the best rap trilogies of all time by many modern rap fans. The group is also a rather controversial group, having been involved with the police a handful of times, with XXXTentacion having even claimed that the group had pulled a gun on him.

#3 FABOLOUS

If you are more of an early 2000s rap kind of person, you have hookah smoking celebrities to look up to, too. Fabolous, who gave us hits such as “Into You” and “Can’t Deny It” is also known to enjoy his hookah every now and again.

Fabolous was born in New York City, always known to be a melting pot of cultures. New York has a thriving hookah scene, so it is no surprise that Fabolous is one of the many celebrities who enjoys smoking some shisha on occasion.

#4 SWIZZ BEATZ

Prolific hip-hop producer Swizz Beats has been known to smoke hookah as well. Swizz Beats and French Montana brought hookahs into the studio during the 2018 release of Swizz’s album, Poison.

Swizz Beatz has been producing some of the most prolific beats in hip hop history. You can hear Swizz’s work on such classics as “Party Up (Up in Here)” by DMX, “Ring The Alarm” by Beyonce, and “Ultralight Beam” by Kanye West, just to name a few.

#5 BRODY JENNER

If you prefer reality stars over rap stars, then you have your own hookah idols as well. Brody Jenner, of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, is a hookah smoker as well.

Brody Jenner was originally on a reality show, Laguna Beach, and later, The Hills until he finally appeared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Brody Jenner is a DJ and model in addition to his work on reality television.

#6 DAN BILZERIAN

Armenian-born poker player and businessman Dan Bilzerian is a hookah smoker as well. Son of corporate takeover specialist Paul Bilzerian, Dan and his brother Adam were both trust fund kids who became professional poker players.

The Bilzerians are of Armenian descent, a country not far from turkey, so hookah is quite popular in Armenia. Hookah is one of the Bilzerian’s hobbies and it is no surprise to us.

#7 MACHINE GUN KELLY

Megan Fox’s fiance and Texas-born rapper Machine Gun Kelly is among the many musicians who grace this list. Machine Gun Kelly sings hit songs, “Wild Boy,” “Bad Things,” and “My Ex’s Best Friend.” Machine Gun Kelly is also an actor who has been in professional films since the mid-2010s.

#8 WAKA FLOCKA FLAME

Another rapper who was raised in the American South, Waka Flocka Flame is yet another hookah smoking celebrity on our list. Waka Flocka is perhaps more famous for the controversies concerning himself and Gucci Mane rather than his most famous album, Flockaveli

Waka Flocka’s mother was Gucci Mane’s manager for much of his career. The two had a falling out, and Flocka’s mother was fired. In 2013 Gucci Mane sued Waka Flocka and his mother for racketeering, fraud, and other charges. Waka Flocka has since released two separate diss tracks about Gucci Mane.

#9 JESSICA BURCIAGA

One of the more unique additions to our list of celebrities who smoke hookah is none other than Playmate of the Month in February 2009, Jessica Burciaga. Jessican is a hookah smoker as well as a model, rising to fame in the mid-2000s.

Burciaga has been seen smoking hookah in both Las Vegas and her home of Los Angeles, California.

#10 TYGA

Perhaps the rap world’s biggest advocate for hookah, Tyga is a major fan of smoking hookah, and isn’t afraid to share his love for it with the world. Tyga has even released a song about our favorite water pipe.

“Hookah” is the name of Tyga’s 2014 hit song dedicated to the pleasures of hookah smoking. The music video features plenty of video footage of Tyga and fellow rapper and hookah aficionado Young Thug with some cool hookahs.

Tyga is a very successful Rapper from Compton who is famous for his tracks “Rack City” and “Taste.”
